Privacy & security
Your documents are personal.
Your choices should be clear.
NDIS documents can contain sensitive personal and health information. Please read this before adding them.
Free Check: your documents stay in your browser
- Files are read on your device. MyRilo does not receive, send on or store their content, file names or results.
- No cloud AI and no account. Nothing is saved in your browser’s storage; closing the page or pressing Clear session removes it.
- While the check page is open, our error and usage reporting is switched off.
- Like any website, loading the page tells our host and Google Fonts your device’s internet address. That happens before you choose a document and carries none of its content.
The Free Check does not remove personal details, because nothing leaves your device. The summary you download contains whatever your documents say, so store it carefully.
Go to the Free CheckAdvanced beta: a separate service
The Evidence Check, Review Pack and ART Pack are a separate service in early access. It is not yet open for real documents, and we are not taking payment for it. Before anyone uses it, they must be approved, read and agree to separate beta statements, and have access switched on by our team.
When it opens, it will send text to our hosting and AI providers. The details below describe that service and the checks still to be done. Nothing from the Free Check is passed to it.
Request early accessWhat we have checked, and what we have not
MyRilo is in early testing. Until the open questions below are answered, please do not add documents you are not comfortable sharing. You can try the free check with a short, made-up or heavily edited example.
Checked in how the app works
- Personal details are looked for and replaced on your device before text is saved or sent.
- Original files are read in your browser. Only cleaned text is stored.
- Saved case records can only be read by the signed-in account that owns them.
- Case analysis requests check your sign-in before they run.
- The app asks the AI service not to store responses.
- You can download your saved information and delete your account in Settings.
Still to be confirmed
- How long the AI service keeps the text it receives, and whether it is ever used to train models.
- Which countries the app, database and AI service store or process data in.
- How long backups are kept, and when deleted information is fully removed from them.
- Independent security testing of the app.
- A complete privacy policy reviewed against the Australian Privacy Principles.
Advanced beta: removing personal details
In the beta, the app tries to replace names, NDIS and Medicare numbers, birth dates, phone numbers, emails, addresses and provider names with labels like [Participant] before text leaves your device. This is automatic and can miss things. It does not make a document anonymous. You will be shown the cleaned text to check first.
Advanced beta: what would be saved
Case files would contain cleaned document text, case details, saved answers and your cleaned questions, plus your account email so you can sign in.
Advanced beta: how AI is used
When you request an analysis, cleaned text and relevant reference extracts are sent to the AI service. AI can make mistakes. Check the source and page before relying on an answer.
The app asks the AI service not to store responses. That alone doesn’t confirm the service’s retention or training policy. We need a confirmed provider statement before opening the beta.
Read more about AI processingRetention and deletion
Saved information stays until you delete it. Download and account deletion are in settings. How long backups and providers keep copies is not yet confirmed, so we can’t promise that deleting removes every copy straight away.
Manage my informationSecurity statements
Sign-in and owner-only access checks protect saved records. No service can promise complete security. Independent security testing, hosting locations and documented security controls must be confirmed before the beta opens.
Feedback
Feedback is sent to MyRilo, and the app tries to remove personal details first. We save the message, report type and page. Please leave out names and NDIS numbers.
