NDIS internal review (section 100)
Last checked against official sources:
If you disagree with a reviewable NDIA decision, the first formal step is usually an internal review. Someone who did not make the original decision looks at it again.
Time limit
Under section 100 of the NDIS Act, you must ask for a review within 3 months after receiving notice of the decision. Check the date on your decision letter.
How to ask
The Act says a request can be made in writing, or by phone or in person. Keep a record of when and how you asked.
Making your request clear
Say which decision you want reviewed and which supports are in dispute. Point to the parts of your reports that address the NDIA’s stated reasons.
It helps to stay specific and calm. Focus on the evidence, not on blame.
